定义

概率三元体[math]\displaystyle{ \left(\Omega, \mathcal{F}, P\right) }[/math]包含事件集合[math]\displaystyle{ \Omega }[/math]、事件集合上满足下列要求的σ-代数[math]\displaystyle{ \mathcal{F} }[/math]

  1. [math]\displaystyle{ \Omega{\in}\mathcal{F} }[/math]
  2. [math]\displaystyle{ A{\in}\mathcal{F} }[/math],则[math]\displaystyle{ \bar{A}{\in}\mathcal{F} }[/math]
  3. [math]\displaystyle{ A_{i}{\in}\mathcal{F} }[/math][math]\displaystyle{ i=1,2,... }[/math],则[math]\displaystyle{ \bigcup_{i}A_i{\in}\mathcal{F} }[/math]

以及,从[math]\displaystyle{ \mathcal{F} }[/math][math]\displaystyle{ \left[0,1\right] }[/math]的满足下列要求的映射[math]\displaystyle{ P }[/math]

  1. [math]\displaystyle{ P\left(\Omega\right)=1 }[/math]
  2. [math]\displaystyle{ P\left(\cup_{i} A_{i}\right)=\sum_{i}P\left(A_{i}\right) }[/math],其中[math]\displaystyle{ A_{i}\cap A_{j}=\Phi }[/math][math]\displaystyle{ \forall i,j }[/math]
